Personas
What it is
Personas define simulated user profiles that interact with your AI assistants during testing. Each persona has a name, description, and behavioral traits that guide how they communicate and what they ask about.
How to use
- Navigate to Testing → Personas in the sidebar
- Click New Persona to create a persona
- Define the persona’s name, description, and characteristics
- Assign personas to test suites
Configuration Options
- Name: A unique identifier (e.g., “Confused Customer”, “Technical Expert”)
- Description: Background and context for the persona
- Traits: Behavioral characteristics that influence conversation style
- Goals: What the persona is trying to accomplish

- Diverse testing: Simulate different user types and behaviors
- Reusable profiles: Use the same persona across multiple test suites
- Behavioral variation: Test edge cases and challenging interactions
Tips
- Create personas that represent your actual user base
- Include both typical users and edge cases
- Use descriptive names that quickly convey the persona’s nature
- Define clear goals for each persona to focus test scenarios
